I’m Noemi, and I’m thrilled to welcome you to my world! As the founder of The Bright Side Group (formerly LaChapelle Consulting), I’ve poured my heart into gathering the best of what I’ve learned over the years—and I can’t wait to share it with you.
My expertise lies in project management, process improvement (Lean), change management, leadership development, and strategic planning. I’m passionate about helping others build Continuous Improvement Capacity, and I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt (LSSMBB), a certified Prosci Change Management Practitioner, and a licensed Project Management Professional (PMP).
With over 16 years in public service, 7 years in retail, and 2 years in healthcare, I’ve seen firsthand how different industries operate. For the past 11 years, I’ve dedicated myself to consulting and coaching, guiding individuals and organizations to unlock their full potential.

How I got here…
Alright, so, who am I when I'm not doing the whole work thing? Well, let's rewind a bit. I'm a proud Latina, born and raised in Sunnyside, WA, with some solid Mexican roots. My folks? Total rockstars – they worked their tails off as farmworkers, tackling everything from apples to cherries. And you better believe I was right there with them, even if I wasn't always thrilled about waking up at the crack of dawn. But hey, lunch breaks? That's where the magic happened – chowing down on tacos de chorizo in the back of the truck? Can't beat it!
Fast forward to now, I'm kicking it in Olympia, WA with my hubby, two awesome kids – Raymond and Juliana – and our whole menagerie of pets. Seriously, we've got two cats, a dog, a couple of axolotls, and even a pond with three goldfish. And oh, don't forget my oldest kiddo, Nate who blessed us with the cutest little munchkin, Juniper. Yeah, I know, did you just do a double-take on those ages? Bingo – I was a teen mom at 17, and now I'm loving every minute of being a grandma (Mimi, to be exact).
As for work, it's been a ride. Started off doing the retail shuffle in my teens and twenties, but then found my groove with the State of Washington. First gig? Office Assistant. Loved being the go-to person for all the questions, but you know me – always had my eyes on the next adventure. Call it "dreamer eyes" if you want – I'd see someone in a role that seemed cool, and I'd think, "Hey, maybe I could do that too."
And that's how I ended up diving headfirst into the world of Continuous Improvement. I soaked up every bit of training, mentoring, and networking I could get my hands on, and I've been applying it ever since.
